Far away

I wish I was a little leaf,

so that strong winds could carry me

far away from this busy world.

 

Just for a few days,

let me go far away

to a different realm .

Learn from my failures,

start afresh.

 

I wish to to become pure like the rain

that descends from heaven

longing to meet its soul,the earth.

 

I wish to fly,up high and far

in the wide sky

and see clouds floating by.

 

I wish to swim deep into the blue ocean

a haven of peace

no tears to cry,

don’t want to be dry.

 

I am caged by my thoughts,

I want to be free.

I want to dance under the tree,

where the world can see

I’m not hurting anymore.

Then far away I’ll go

freed from the chains that once bound me

to explore the unknown.
